Settling in for big day tomorrow

So I've just arrived in my hotel room here in Tunica, MS. Amazing how
much this place has changed in the last 15 years. What once was
cotton fields as far as you could see is now filled with neon lights
and tons of activity. Tunica County was once the poorest county in
America. It now is the wealthiest in Mississippi. Amazing.

Anyway, a good friend of mine was nice enough to set me up with a
hotel room for the weekend and I'm now settling in for a big wedding
tomorrow in Downtown Memphis. You should see it. You'd think I'd be
out playing blackjack or something, but instead I'm ironing shirts,
polishing shoes, and charging camera batteries! Oh, and watching
foorball in the background. Multi-tasking at it's finest!

It's about a 20 minute drive from here to the location, so I should
get a good night's rest and be ready to go when I meet Jennifer and
Bob around noon. The weather should be perfect and the venue is
gorgeous. I can't wait!
