what is art ?

I found this video on youtube this morning and thought it was pretty interesting. It's by Michael Sullivan and I believe it was part of a class project. At least that's what I gathered from the info provided in the video and on it's youtube page.

At any rate, I think his answer is pretty interesting. I took a philosophy of art class when I was in college. I'm not sure my head has ever been so turned around as it was in that class, and ever since then I've had this nagging desire to figure out that answer for myself. I think I'm getting there. But who really knows, right?
