Wandering my neighborhood
My wife and I live near our small community's downtown area. It's nice to be so close to our offices, so close to whatever bustle we may have. Which isn't much really. But it's ours. And I don't mean mine and Jamie's; I mean all of us "Clevelanders".
At any rate, we often walk our dog Sam around this neighborhood each night before we go to bed. Last night I took care of this as Jamie had work meetings that ran late. Sam and I didn't go far. We just crossed the street and wandered around the Bolivar County Courthouse. I had planned on a quick five or ten minute trip, as I wanted to get back to the Monday Night Football game. What happened was an hour or so of creating images with my new favorite camera, my iPhone. Or, as my buddy Chris likes to call it, my iHolga.
So here are a few of those images. I hope you like them.

Back entrance to the sherriff's office.

Side window of the jail.

Lights in the parking lot.

Newspaper offices across the street.

Inside the dairy company offices.

Love these images!
I have had this same kind of project on my to-do list for a while! I live in kind of a boring little suburb, but I'm determined to go find/document the beauty and interest in it. Thanks for the inspiration! These are so great. Now I just need to find the time.
